About

Claire Moore is a Dallas based artist that creates works inspired by the natural world. Selections range from painted meditations on plant-life prompted by extended periods outdoors amidst the pandemic to expansive textural vistas of the American landscape informed by road trips across the United States.

Moore received her MFA from Hunter College in New York City, MA in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University, and BFA from the University of Texas at Austin. Informed by the indelible impact of working as an educator at museums in NYC and Texas, her artistic influences span vast geographies and time periods. Recent solo exhibitions include Thrive at Atelier Dallas, Flora at Arts Fort Worth, and New Works at the Janet Kennedy Gallery. They recently completed an 18th month juried artist residency at The Cedars Union in Dallas, Texas.
